QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU CONNECT

Frequently asked questions

Direct answers about free access, integration, permissions and verification scope.

Is Open Tally charging now?

Register in the console and create a workspace without payment details. This controlled beta has workspace and email-delivery capacity limits. Commercial plans are inquiry-only; prices and SLAs have not been announced, and there is no automatic charging.

Can I sign up directly?

Yes. Open the console, register and verify your email, then create a workspace. The service prepares your tenant and signing key; enter tenant management once the state is ready. Owners can claim the initial admin credential when needed; plaintext is shown once. During the beta, each account can create up to 3 workspaces; contact the team if platform capacity is reached.

Must I replace my gateway or import historical data?

No. Deliver new events through the server API. Historical migration is not a prerequisite for a generation-6 integration. Do not send invented sample usage to a production ledger.

Does it prove a reseller did not substitute a model?

No. Current evidence verifies record integrity and consistency. Model names are input claims. Model authenticity, TEE execution evidence and absolute source-metering accuracy are outside the current capability.

Why does verification report SKIPPED?

Some checks require supplier or customer payloads not disclosed in anonymous bundles. Missing evidence can also cause a skipped check. SKIPPED is not PASS; inspect each reason instead of relying only on the exit code.

Can another customer see my itemization?

A customer token only discloses customer records for its bound identity. Audit grants disclose supplier records for selected streams; anonymous users see hashes. Deliver tokens securely through your existing user system.

Are the platform and verifier open source?

Specifications, schemas, vectors and verification rules are public. Hosted implementation source is private; the verifier is distributed as a separately licensed binary. The public examples repository does not contain the private implementation.

Does the portal receive my API keys?

No. The portal provides static documentation, examples and navigation. It does not ask for credentials or proxy ledger requests. Execute real calls on your server or in your terminal.
