BUILD WITH OPEN TALLY
Developer documentation
Find the documentation you need, from core concepts and integration to independent verification.
Start with the core concepts
| Concept | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Tenant / Issuer | A tenant is an issuer. Credentials scope events, keys and ledgers. |
| Stream | An independently sequenced, hash-linked receipt stream. |
| Receipt | A signed record committing to its section contents. |
| Commitment / Bundle | A commitment seals a receipt range; a bundle carries verification material. |
| Pricing expression | A published, hash-referenced pricing rule evaluated precisely by the service. |
Connect to the hosted service
Keep your own user system and billing logic. Your server exports events to Open Tally; the ledger issues receipts and delivers evidence. No embedded gateway SDK or historical-ledger migration is required.
New integrations use generation 6, currently supporting token metering. Publish a pricing expression before submitting events that reference its hash.
Explore first, then integrate
The public synthetic examples need no account. Register with a verified email in the console and create a workspace to provision a tenant and signing key. Existing API credentials still work.
